Google Sheets is the spreadsheet most teams already share. It is a simple place to keep every lead, sort them, add notes and share them with colleagues or clients. If you run LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms, sending every new lead to Google Sheets automatically saves you downloading files from Campaign Manager and importing them by hand.

This guide shows you how to send LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms to Google Sheets with LeadsNotify: connect your LinkedIn Page, connect Google Sheets, choose where leads go, and test it. It takes about five minutes.

Why Send LinkedIn Leads to Google Sheets?

A shared sheet that fills itself means nobody downloads CSV files from the ad platform again, and everyone looks at the same list.

LinkedIn leads are often your most valuable leads: decision makers, with company and job title already filled in from their profile. They are also the easiest to lose, because they wait in Campaign Manager until someone remembers to download them.

How to Send LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms to Google Sheets (About 5 Minutes)

Before you start, you need: a LeadsNotify account on any plan, free included, admin access to the LinkedIn Page that runs your lead gen forms, and your Google Sheets login.

Step 1: Connect Your LinkedIn Account

Log in to LeadsNotify and open Lead sources. Click Sign in with LinkedIn, sign in, and approve the permissions LinkedIn asks for. Your account shows as Connected under LinkedIn accounts. Already connected? Skip to step 2.

Step 2: Create a Notifier and Pick Your Lead Gen Forms

Click Create notifier. In the Source step, choose LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms, select your LinkedIn account and tick one or more lead gen forms. LeadsNotify reads the fields on those forms, such as first name, last name, email, company name and job title.

Only active forms are shown. If a form is missing, check that the form and its campaign are active in Campaign Manager.

Step 3: Choose Google Sheets as the Destination

Click Choose destination, find Google Sheets in the list (you can search for it) and click the button to connect it.

Step 4: Connect Your Google Sheet

Open the Google Sheet where you want leads to arrive and copy its link. In the Connect step, paste it into Google Sheets URL and click Continue. You do not sign in to Google from LeadsNotify.

Pasting a Google Sheets link in the LeadsNotify Connect step

LeadsNotify checks that the link is a valid Google Sheets link, then shows the bot email address that needs access. In Google Sheets, click Share, add that email address and save, then return to LeadsNotify to finish the connection.

Step 5: Match Your Fields and Save

Match each lead form field to a column in the sheet, for example First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone and Company. Add a header row to the sheet first so the columns are easy to match.

Save the notifier. It appears under Notifiers, and the green switch means it’s live. The test step shows whether failure alerts are on, so you hear about it if a lead can’t be delivered.

Step 6: Send a Test Lead and Check Lead delivery

Saving the notifier opens Review and test delivery. LeadsNotify cannot create LinkedIn test leads itself, but LinkedIn can, and the test step lists the exact steps for your form.

LeadsNotify test step for LinkedIn, sending a test lead from LinkedIn Campaign Manager

To send one, open LinkedIn Campaign Manager and choose your ad account, go to Content & Assets > Lead generation forms, click More next to the form and choose Send Test Lead. Fill in a first name, last name and email address you own, then click Send. Later, the ⋯ menu next to the notifier in Notifiers has How to send a test lead with the same steps.

Open the spreadsheet and look for a new row with the test lead. If the test lead is there with the right details, the notifier is working.

Then open Lead delivery in LeadsNotify. Every attempt is listed with the source, the destination, a status of Delivered or Failed and the delivery time. Our guide to the lead delivery status dashboard walks through every column.

Tips for Getting More From LinkedIn Leads in Google Sheets

    • Keep a header row in row 1 and do not insert columns in the middle later; add new columns at the end.
    • Use one tab per form or campaign if you run several.
    • Share the sheet view-only with clients so they can see their leads live.

Troubleshooting the LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms to Google Sheets Integration
