ActiveCampaign is a customer relationship management (CRM) and marketing automation platform that helps businesses manage contacts, email marketing, sales automation, and customer relationships. Connecting LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms with ActiveCampaign allows you to send new LinkedIn leads to your CRM and follow up with them more efficiently.
In this guide, we’ll show you how to set up a LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms ActiveCampaign integration using Leadsnotify. With this setup, you can connect your LinkedIn lead forms to ActiveCampaign and automatically send new leads to your CRM.
Step 1: Sign Up and Log In to Leadsnotify
First, sign up and log in to Leadsnotify. Once you’re inside the app, you can connect your LinkedIn account and create the ActiveCampaign integration.
Step 2: Connect LinkedIn to Leadsnotify
Connect your LinkedIn account to Leadsnotify. After logging in, go to Connectors in the menu, find LinkedIn, and click to connect your account.
If you need help connecting LinkedIn to Leadsnotify, follow the LinkedIn connection instructions in our LinkedIn connection guide.
Step 3: Create the ActiveCampaign LinkedIn Integration
After connecting LinkedIn, go to the Create Notifier option in Leadsnotify. Search for ActiveCampaign and click Try Now, as shown in the screenshot below.
After clicking Try Now, you’ll see two sections. In the first section, select your LinkedIn page and the forms you want to connect. Once you select your LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms, Leadsnotify will display the available fields from those forms.
In the right section, enter your ActiveCampaign API URL and API Key. These credentials allow Leadsnotify to connect to your ActiveCampaign account and send your LinkedIn leads to it.
Find Your ActiveCampaign API URL and API Key
To find your ActiveCampaign API credentials, log in to your ActiveCampaign account and open Settings.
Then open the Developer section. ActiveCampaign provides the account-specific API URL and API Key there. Use the API URL shown in your own account rather than manually entering a generic API URL.
Copy your API URL and paste it into the URL field in Leadsnotify. Then copy your API Key and paste it into the Key field. Once both values have been entered, click Submit.
After the API URL and API Key are successfully submitted, additional input fields and a dropdown menu will appear. Select how you want your LinkedIn leads to be added to ActiveCampaign, then click Submit to complete the integration.
Your LinkedIn to ActiveCampaign integration is now configured. New leads submitted through the selected LinkedIn forms can be sent through the Leadsnotify workflow to your ActiveCampaign account.
How to Test the LinkedIn ActiveCampaign Integration
After completing the integration, it’s a good idea to submit a test lead to make sure your LinkedIn Lead Gen Form and ActiveCampaign connection are working correctly.
Click the Ad Name to open the ad and its lead form.
The ad will open in a new tab and display the content associated with your LinkedIn Lead Gen Form. In this example, the form includes a Subscribe button for collecting leads.
Click the form button to open the lead form. Enter a test name and email address, then submit the form.
After submitting the test form, check your ActiveCampaign account for the new lead. If the test lead appears successfully, your LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms ActiveCampaign integration is working correctly.
If you don’t receive the lead in ActiveCampaign, check that your LinkedIn form is connected to the correct Leadsnotify notifier and that the ActiveCampaign API URL and API Key were entered correctly. You can also contact us at support@leadsnotify.com for assistance.
